MT4 and MT5 Autosync: Sync Your Trades Automatically

Trading Vault now keeps itself in sync with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 hedging accounts. Install the Trading Vault Expert Advisor once, and your trades flow into your journal on their own, almost instantly, from then on.
That means less time keeping your records up to date and more time reviewing what actually happened: your decisions, your execution, and what you want to change next.
How it works
Install the EA
Download the Trading Vault Expert Advisor and copy it into your MetaTrader data folder, then restart the platform so it appears in your Expert Advisors list.
Allow the connection
In MetaTrader's options, allow WebRequests to the Trading Vault API address, then attach the EA to any chart on the account you want to sync.
Enter your profile key
Create a profile connection key in Trading Vault and paste it into the EA's settings to link it to your account.
Turn on automatic sync
Back in Trading Vault, turn on automatic sync for that profile. From there, trades sync on their own as they happen.
Sync on your terms
Automatic sync runs quietly in the background as long as MetaTrader stays open with the EA attached. If you turn it off, nothing is lost. Turning it back on catches up any trades that queued up while it was paused.
A note on MetaTrader autosync
Automatic MT4 and MT5 sync had been unavailable since MetaQuotes retired the FTP publishing feature that used to send statement data to Trading Vault automatically. The new Expert Advisor restores automatic sync for MT4 and MT5 hedging accounts, this time with trades arriving almost instantly instead of on a delayed statement schedule. Manual HTML report uploads remain available for accounts that don't use the EA.
