In case your trade has multiple positions, you will see dropdowns in the top left corner that let you switch between your scale-ins and scale-outs. This feature is helpful to analyze each part of the trade independently, as well as to view specific details for each position.

By analyzing the information presented on the "Info" tab, traders can gain valuable insights into their trades performance, which can help them identify areas for improvement and refine their trading strategies.

Opening balance

When you enter a trade, the "Opening Balance" refers to the value of your account at that point in time, and it affects the trade's Risk Percentage (%) and Profit Percentage (%). You can modify this balance in the Account Management section of Trading Vault by adding or withdrawing funds.

If you find that your Profit % calculation is incorrect, it is important to check your opening balance and ensure that all deposits and withdrawals have the correct date recorded. Making sure that your account history is accurate can help ensure that your performance metrics, such as Profit %, are calculated correctly.

Trade performance

The Reward-to-Risk graphic is a useful tool to analyze a trade's efficiency and performance. It displays the extreme price values relative to your entry, stop, target, and exit during the trade. This can help you identify areas for improvement in your trading strategy.

To calculate the trade's performance, you will need to record the Maximum Adverse Price (MAP) and Maximum Favourable Price (MFP) in the Details tab.

The trade's efficiency is summarized by three percentages: entry efficiency, exit efficiency, and total efficiency.
