Trading Streak Analyzer
The Trading Streak Analyzer helps you understand how wins and losses can cluster across a sample of trades. It is useful for setting expectations around losing streaks, reviewing whether a streak is statistically unusual, and seeing why even strong win rates can still produce uncomfortable sequences.
Controls
| Field | Description |

| Streak Type | Choose whether the table calculates losing streaks or winning streaks. |
| Trade Sample Size | The number of trades in the sequence. Enter a whole number from 1 to 10,000. |
| Max Losing Streak / Max Winning Streak | The maximum streak length displayed as table columns. Values are limited from 1 to 25. |
| Win Rate (%) | The win rate to highlight and use for the random sequence preview. Values use 5% increments from 5% to 95%. |
Probability matrix
The probability matrix shows the chance of seeing at least a certain streak length within the selected trade sample size.
Rows are win rates. Columns are streak lengths. For example, in losing-streak mode, the column headed 5 shows the probability of encountering at least five consecutive losses somewhere in the sample.
The selected win rate is highlighted, making it easier to scan the row that matches your own strategy. Cells are color shaded so high-risk areas stand out quickly.
Losing streaks and winning streaks
In Losing Streaks mode, the calculation uses the loss probability from each win-rate row. In Winning Streaks mode, it uses the win probability instead.
Switching modes keeps the same sample size and selected win rate, so you can compare how often both types of streak may appear.
Random sequence preview
Use Generate Sequence to create a random sample using the selected trade count and win rate. The preview groups consecutive wins and losses into badges, then summarizes:

| Wins | Total winning trades in the generated sequence. |
| Losses | Total losing trades in the generated sequence. |
| Longest win streak | Longest consecutive winning run in that sample. |
| Longest loss streak | Longest consecutive losing run in that sample. |
The longest win and loss streak groups are visually highlighted in the sequence preview.
Sharing the analyzer
Use Share to copy a link containing the selected trade sample size, maximum streak column count, highlighted win rate and streak mode.
The generated random sequence itself is not shared. Anyone opening the link can generate a new sample from the same assumptions.
